In addition to seeking advice and guidance from faculty and staff advisors, Legal Studies students are strongly encouraged to monitor their own academic progress. You can download the major and minor checklists below.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR NEW MAJORS: NEW requirements are in effect for majors declaring in Fall 2003 or later. Please go to the Legal Studies office in Merrill 27 for an updated 2003 major checklist, or consult the Legal Studies section of the 2003-04 UCSC Catalog. If you declared your major prior to Fall 2003, you are under the "old" requirements and can use the "PRE-2003" checklist.
